Owen Mumford Visits Marlborough School

Last week, a group of our dedicated Owen Mumford associates had the incredible opportunity to participate in a unique "Meet the Employer" activity at the Marlborough School in Woodstock. This event was not your typical career day, but rather a dynamic and interactive experience designed to give students a real insight into the world of work.

Each student was given just one minute to guess the job role of our associates based on various items displayed on a desk. Following this, they had three minutes to ask any questions about our work or any general career advice, even seeking guidance for their GCSE choices. We were truly impressed by the insightful and thoughtful questions asked by these young minds.

The feedback we received was heart-warming - an overwhelming 92% of students reported that they now understand much more about the diverse range of job roles available to them. This event has not only broadened their horizons but also sparked new interests and aspirations.

At Owen Mumford, we believe that empowering the next generation through education and exposure to real-world career opportunities is critical. We are extremely proud of our associates who took the time to attend this event and inspire these young individuals. It's moments like these that highlight the importance of community engagement and the positive impact that such interactions can have.
